A. Why my last relationship ended: Long story, lots of drama: Guy still lived with his daughter’s mother, despite two years of proclaiming he was going to change the situation. Then told her about me, at which point she contacted me and between the two of us we uncovered countless lies. Several months later I started seeing someone casually- I wouldn’t consider it a relationship, but it did end when/ because I started seeing Ian.

B. Favourite band: Right now, Local Natives

C. Who I like and why I like them: My boyfriend Ian. He is interesting, dynamic, emotional and complex. He’s very intelligent, thoughtful, practical, motivated, and responsible. He’s crazy about me, incredibly kind to me and makes me feel great about myself. He is very good looking with perfect dimples and gorgeous green-gray eyes with long eyelashes. His face scrunches up when he laughs, and he thinks I’m funny so I see it a lot. And his voice just, nnghh, it makes me melt.

D. Hardest thing I’ve ever been through: First break-up was pretty hard, as they usually are, I’m sure. I was dysfunctional for months. Or any of the several health situations my mother has been in- worst was when I had to call 911 and she was in the hospital for two weeks.

E. My best friend: Ian. Adam. Thea. Kim. Whitney.

F. My favourite movie: 2001 A Space Odyssey, Empire Records, Chaplin

G. Sexual orientation: Straight, mostly.

H. Do I smoke/drink? smoke cigarettes on rare occasion (like 3-5 per week); smoke anything else never (shocking, I know, considering I live in Colorado); drink pretty regularly but not a lot

J. What I want to be when I get older: Restaurant owner and service manager. Food and beverage director. Food and beverage task force.

K. Relationship with my parents: Pretty good with my dad; I get along with my mom on the surface but I hate my mother.

L. One of my insecurities: Just one? Belly.

M. Virgin or not? Not for, uh, 11 years now.

N. Favourite place to shop at? Bookworm, the locally owned bookstore downstairs. I have never once walked in there and walked out with only the thing I came in for.
